BIOGRAPHY
Johnny Cribb has been involved in public service for the past twenty-eight years including serving as Berkeley County Supervisor since January 2019. Johnny was born in North Charleston and has lived in Berkeley County for the past twenty-three years with his wife Teri and children, Brooks and Ashlyn. Johnny and Teri were high school sweethearts and have been married for twenty-six years. Brooks graduated from The Citadel in ’22 and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corp stationed in Quantico, Virginia. Ashlyn attends Charleston Southern University majoring in Kinesiology and is a member of the BUCS softball team. Johnny and Teri welcomed a daughter-in-law to the family this summer when Brooks married the former Anna Grace Spurlock.
Prior to being elected as County Supervisor, Johnny served ten years as Administrator for the City of Hanahan. Previous employment also included fifteen years with the Town of Mount Pleasant in the Recreation Department and three years in the Charleston County School District.

Johnny has served on the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments and Charleston Area Transportation Study Team (CHATS) for the past thirteen years. Johnny also served on the Berkeley County Transportation Committee (CTC) for ten years. Previous service also includes the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) Board and Berkeley County Storm Water Advisory Committee. Johnny has served as an executive committee member of the Charleston Regional Development Alliance since January 2019 and was recently appointed to serve on the SCDNR Marine Advisory Committee.
Johnny earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1994. He is a 2007 graduate of the Institute for Departmental Management at the University of South Carolina.

Johnny attends Restoration Community Church in Hanahan where he serves as a Community Group leader and a Deacon.
